So here I am at college. Foolishly I've already slept through 2 of my classes, one actually at 12:30 in the afternoon. So far, at least out of the ones that I've made it to, my classes seem like they'll be pretty cool. It's so nice having short classes. 50 minutes is so much more tolerable than 90, plus, I don't have four in a row, which is wonderful.
So...what's important in my life...The walk from my apartment to the campus is a good 40 minutes, and I don't have my bike because it wouldn't fit in the car, so That really wore me out the first day of classes, since I had three that day, and I went back to my apartment in between every one, (a bad idea). I did, the next day, find a bus that will take me to campus that's only about 10 minutes away from my apartment on foot, so that was a life saver.
I still need some of my books because the bookstore here didn't have them. New management.
Things between Julie and I are a bit rockier than usual right now. I think it might be because she's tired of the distance thing, it could also be because I'm a jerk a lot of the time, so I'm gonna try to be nicer, and who knows, maybe things between she and I will end up okay, or maybe they'll end entirely. I certainly hope it's not the latter because I do love her very much and I'd be devistated to lose her. I just wish I knew how to make her happy.
My apartment is pretty cool, and my parents loaded me up with tons of food when we moved in, so I haven't needed to eat outside of my apartment yet. I've still got a whole bunch of food left too, and I have a stove and an oven, and a microwave and a fridge and what not, so I can fix anything I want. I'm even getting a washer and drier soon, which will be nice and should save me a lot of quarters. anyway, that's about all for now. |

so...college college college...My earliest class is 9:30, MWF. On tuesdays and thursdays my first class is at 11:00. I'm excited about that. I'm really very excited about this whole thing. Everyone there seemed really nice, well, not everyone, but most people, the campus was really cool and easy to navigate, my living arangements are pretty good. I think everything's going to be okay. The only thing left to do is go up there, and well...move in and such, I still need to buy a lot of things for that, hopefully my scholarship will pay for that too. |
